I came home to something I thought was there. Turns out I was wrong I looked everywhere. The first person in years I thought knew me. First soul in life I could finally see. I realize now it wasn't to be. She'll find a new soul, one better than me. If she ever comes running back. I'll fold my arms let her run right past. Me and all the love I had. So much more I'd like to say, but things were meant to be this way. The sweet sound of laughter runs through my mind. Know I'm the better man for giving you some time.
